Absorgel Pouch Humidity Indicator Panel (HIP)
A simple and safe cargo desiccant in the form of a gel pad. The unit will start to activate once removed from its sealed package. The Absorgel Pouch HIP is non-toxic and environmentally friendly.
The active ingredient in the Absorgel Pouch HIP is calcium chloride, which has a superior ability to absorb moisture from the surrounding air, absorbing up to 300% of its weight. Absorgel Pouches can absorb over 10 times more than traditional inbox desiccants. The absorbed water is bound into a gel so that no liquid water is formed.
The Absorgel Pouch HIP comes with a transparent window and humidity indicator. Once the absorbent material seen through the window has the same colour as the window border it should be replaced with a new desiccant.

Installation
The Absorgel Pouch HIP starts working as soon as it is removed from its transparent packaging.
The calcium chloride absorbs moisture from the surrounding air passing in through its outer breathable packaging material on Side A which must face upwards. Side B which has the transparent indicating window should face downwards.
The Absorgel Pouch HIP’s adhesive gel ensures absorbed moisture stays in the product.
Disposal
The Absorgel Pouch is a single-use product and can be disposed as regular waste. The product is non-toxic and recyclable.
