Pair with Oxygen Absorbers

Always add oxygen absorbers before sealing to prevent spoilage and degradation. Oxygen in the air can affect flavour, colour, texture, smell, and increases the risk of mould growth.

Oxygen absorbers remove the oxygen portion of air (around 20%), causing the Mylar Bag to deflate slightly. This is normal and does not create a vacuum. A vacuum sealer is required if complete air removal is desired.

100cc Oxygen Absorbers: Removes oxygen from sealed pouches to extend shelf life, preserve flavour, colour, and texture, and protect against mould and spoilage.

• Use immediately after opening — do not expose to air for more than 60 minutes.
• Store unopened sachets at room temperature (5°C–30°C) and away from direct sunlight.
• Main ingredients: Iron powder, activated carbon, salt, diatomite granules, water.
• Packaging material: PET/EVA/PAPER/PE (oil-proof multi-layer film).

How to Seal Mylar Bags

• Fill the bag, leaving 10–12 cm at the top
• Add oxygen absorbers
• Press out excess air and seal

Sealing methods include:

• Vacuum Sealer: Use the sealing function; vacuuming is optional when using absorbers
• Impulse Sealer: Fast and efficient commercial option
• Hair Straightener / Household Iron: Use on high heat; seal for 2–4 seconds. If adding absorbers last, leave a small gap, insert them, then seal completely and repeat once for strength.

Note: Heat sealing traps air. Oxygen absorbers remove oxygen only, not nitrogen, so the bag will not become rigid.

What Can Be Stored

Best suited for dry, low-fat foods such as:

• Flour, rice, grains, pasta
• Dehydrated fruits and vegetables
• Dried beans, cereals, powdered milk
• Herbs and spices
